Does this ring true right now? It’s a consequence of being intentionally divided.

What we ought to learn from what we are now experiencing is how truly interconnected we all are. It is foolish to think what occurs on the other side of the globe cannot affect us. We are all together on this rock hurling through space and we can thrive together or die together and never truly apart.

The fact that the virus has already taken hold across the country, and that blocking foreign travel does essentially nothing to slow the spread of the disease, is beyond his grasp. Good morning. It’s going to be a scary and weird couple of months. For those skeptics, note that some very rich people, NBA owners and the NCAA for example, are deferring lots of money canceling events. We still haven’t seen what the NHL and MLB will do, but I got to think they will do the same thing.
If you view everything in life in dualistic, for me or against me terms, then you are going to have polarization. Trump has never stopped campaigning and he views everything in terms of whether it makes him look good or bad. Has Trump ever done or said anything in terms of uniting the country?

On the surface, Roam looks like a cross between a slightly weird wiki and a note-taking tool like Evernote. It’s not. I’ve been using Roam for a while and have pretty much transferred all of my private information gathering and knowledge processing into it from Tiddlywiki. The description above is the best I’ve seen yet of why I like Roam.
NetNewsWire for iOS is officially released, I’ve been using the beta version for several months. I tend to prefer using a web app to browse my RSS feeds but I’ve grown to appreciate having an “inbox style” RSS app that makes it easier to catch up with things I may have missed. I find using both a stream during the day and an app to occasionally catch up is a good combination.

We in effect have a civil war in progress initiated by Republicans against Democrats that is now having real consequences and real deaths.
As far as Trump appears to be concerned, Democrats, or anyone who does not agree with him is not an American, not a U.S. citizen and is treated with contempt. This, in the United States of America.
So, how soon until martial law is imposed?
My concern with the voting issues that have occurred so far in the primaries is that if they re-surface they will be used by Trump and the Republicans as a method to invalidate the November election, should Trump lose. Doing so will be the end of our democracy but I don’t think most Americans appreciate just how close this is from actually happening. Republicans to date have refused to put the Constitution over party and I have no reason to expect they will act differently.
